Bio

A Canadian of origin, I grew up outside of Toronto, Ontario, went to Seminary in St. John's, Newfoundland, and was ordained (1999) in Edmonton, Alberta. I have been engaged in Episcopal School Chaplaincy since moving to the United States in 2003, first in PK-8 parish day schools in Florida and Georgia, now in ELC-3rd grade at Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School. I also serve as the inaugural Dean of School Chaplains for the Diocese of Washington. Currently filling me with great joy is our 'Thankful Thursdays' service learning program here at Beauvoir, and our interfaith "love your neighbor" focus in chapels. NAES has been a tremendous blessing to me and my ministry over the years, and I've appreciated their support in founding the Network of Episcopal School Chaplains (NESC) and their trust in appointing me (now a 3rd time) to serve as Chair of the Biennial Worship Committee. When I am not working I enjoy travel, cooking, reading, swimming, and caring for my senior corgi and excitable corgipoo puppy.
