Bio

Khadija A. Fredericks joined Saint Andrew's Episcopal School on July 1, 2018.

Khadija brought 23 years of experience as a teacher and administrator to Saint Andrew's. She served as the Director of Lower School at St. Paul's Episcopal School, a well-regarded independent school in Oakland from 2013-2019. She also worked as the Director of Admissions/Enrollment Management at St. Paul's for seven years prior to that and as a first-grader teacher for five years before that. Khadija had previously taught kindergarten at The Harker School in San Jose from 1998-2001.

Khadija holds a Master's degree in elementary education from Columbia University and earned her bachelor’s degree at San Francisco State University. She has also participated in the NAIS Fellowship for Aspiring Heads program, sits on the California Association of Independent Schools Board of Standards and has served as an Accreditation Team Member for the California Association of Independent Schools.
