I come from a family of Episcopal priests! I grew up in Roanoke VA where church was an integral part of our family life. It was from that upbringing that made me fall in love with Episcopal Schools. After serving three years at St. Mark’s in Venice FL, I have recently retired to NC. Before that I served as the director of my first "St. Mark's" in New Canaan CT. It was in this role that I truly found my calling of guiding teachers to teach and nurturing children’s curiosity about God.
I have been an educator since 1986 and cannot imagine my life without teachers and students! Being a director felt so natural after being in the classroom for so many years.
I have three sons, one was born in 1993, and twins born in 1998. They all live in wonderful places to visit, Colorado, Montana and Charleston SC.
I love to walk with my husband and our dog, Lucy and read!
